A Rainy night in Soho
In My Life
Orange Crush
One
Gimme Shelter
Like a Rolling Stone
Like a Hurricane
Layla
Bohemian Rhapsody
Smells like Teen Spirit

Not a bad listen..
I'd listen to that. All proceeds to a random GAA club in Derry so they don't have to darken the doors of BallyHO-land.

On the lads leaving county squad issue, I believe Donaghmore were naive and will regret not advising their 2 lads to hang on a bit longer with the county then quit the night before league started.

Last year Monroe for Carmen, McNulty for Clarkes, McNabb Dromore plus possibly one or two others all quit after the starred games segment started and then proceeded to play in remaining starred games.

By that stage the CCC could do nothing and this is what all clubs will advise their players what to do in future.

Donaghmore just happen to be the fall guys despite the fact that players/clubs have done this for years.

My father had his service from the same church, we had the 30 or so that was allowed but from the short journey from his home the place was packed with mourners, and outside the church it the service was played on a screen

Great clubman of ours had his funeral during that period, plenty lined the streets and we insured distance and so on..

There were plenty of funerals up and down the country that did their best to stay within the rules, and failed but Storeys will only make the news.

It's embarrassing that it's still a bone of contention, that said, it was always going to come back and bite them in the ass.

Quote from: AustinPowers on Today at 05:45:33 PMI was watching a bit of Michelle O'Neill  answering questions at  that covid  enquiry.

I haven't really  followed the minute details of the Bobby Storey  funeral fallout , so  here's my    question....,,,,

MON said she was  invited  to the funeral as part of a group of 30 mourners  (which was  the limit at the time.)

So, what exactly is  the issue with her attending?  If she was one of 30 invited,  surely she was allowed  given that this was  the number allowed  at funeral services  at the  time?

If  more people entered the church (making it  above the number allowed) , then surely that's the church's responsibility to  control that, not MON or any other of the mourners?

Or am I missing  something here?
I haven't followed the minute detail either, very few do, and that's Sinn Féin's problem with this.  It just came across as a fully blown Republican funeral for one of their own with SF leadership at the helm and two fingers to the rules,  while many others had to bury their family member and abide by horrendous restrictions. One law for them, and another for everyone else, and it left a very bitter taste for many.  It's that simple.

Quote from: statto on Today at 03:42:21 PMWhats the thoughts on Kerry/Monaghan Kerry have looked off it so far, Monaghan not being talked about at all which makes them a dangerous proposition expect Monaghan to give this a real go but come up short.

It would suit Kerry if Monaghan give it a go and come up short, they'd get some useful practice while still getting into the QF.

Arsenal should have gone for the win when they played City. Nobody else is good enough to take points off them. Going for a draw was naive by Arteta.
