United are 6/1 to win this competition.

Matt Doherty looks to be put out for pasture. Been living on borrowed time......for a long time.

Great game between Shels and St. Pats. The League of Ireland has been a great product this season. Crowds are up and more games on RTE and Virgin. Duff brings a bit of passion and madness. Kenny proving he is a quality manager in the League of Ireland.

I hear one teenage was arrested last night and later released.

There are plebs in every sport.

There will always the begrudgers who look for the negatives.

Brian Fenton and Jack McCaffrey were in the crowd and enjoying the fare.

Keane is now 53. He is smart enough to know he's on the TV Media gravy train, getting gigs from ITV and Sky. On the weekends if he's not working he'll hang out with the class of'92 lads at a Salford City match.

If I'm not mistaken he had a plethora of falling outs with players while on the coaching staff of Ireland, Villa and Forest.

Gary Neville is a Businessman. He has a lot of pokers in different fires. Working for the Glaziers and Manchester United is just another poker.

Besides, you or the average MU fan don't need Neville to tell them that the Glaziers are letches.

Roy Keane is the man to iron out the rest of the season, but there's too much politics involved, the club is couped

You do know....Keane was dismissed as Ipswich manager on 7 January 2011.
That's nearly 15 years since he has had a Management job.

Think of something that happened to you 15 years ago, where you were, what you used to do and could you do that now?

Aye and Clough lasted 44 days at Leeds, but it didn't stop him winning 2 European Cups with Forest

You give Clough as an example for Keane. That has to be one of the craziest tangents of an argument ever. Clough was 9 continuous years in Management when he got the Leeds job. He had won the League with Derby before he joined Leeds.

It makes me laugh the rhetorical call for Roy Keane to take over at Utd.

As if he'd take control of that dressing room.

No nonsense Roy is almost a parody mow.

Quote from: Wee Barky on September 29, 2024, 08:36:01 PMThe Bruno suspension might be a blessing g in disguise, he's been truly awful this season and may seem an upshot in performance in the next league game.

He'll still get to play in Europe.....

Quote from: tiempo on September 29, 2024, 06:38:08 PMHe'd recognise it as a proper job and with an astronomical pay packet, he'd take it in a heartbeat

From a team point of view, he commands instant respect and takes no shit, as a starting point for the talent available thats easily enough to stabilise

I agree, it's a sinking ship, with EtH you're lucky to finish top half

Keane was dismissed as Ipswich manager on 7 January 2011.
That's nearly 15 years since he has had a Management job.

That would be a huge gamble, for even a desperate Man Utd.
