Be careful of stats getting amended this morning.

Looks like you're losing now? Big result in the context of the Halas division there as well. Smackdown Clowns, leading that division most of the season were beaten, and look to have been overtaken by the Tribesmen and Biffs, as well as the Bears in the Lombardi division. From #2 seeds to #5 in the blink of an eye.

AZOffaly

I forgot about the Monday night game. You still have Breaston. If you haul Seanie in, then Smackdown Clowns will go back to being #4 seed. Close stuff!

I have to hope Palko is a repugnant as reported though Breaston has only had less than 2 points once. Think I'm screwed. Left points on the bench this week again but unlike last week I've no regreats as it would have been a crazy decision to start either over what I had. Must admit I went to bed last night thinking I was going to win - Giants and Bills killing me last couple of weeks. And AP now injured.....

declan85

My clowns are just that. From 7-0 to 7-4, started off at lightning pace but fallen off badly now. Need to recapture form quickly with the high scoring tribesmen in town next week...

You've no worries, Deel.  He's sure to rack up the points because I just unloaded him in another league.

:D :D thats  good to know Oraisteach , i was half thinking of staying up to watch it on espn but that would be taking this fantasy league far too serious especially since i'm just fighting to stay in the division  :)

And so we're into the final stretch of the regular season. (Heganboy, those trophies haven't arrived to me ?) All 3 championships have interesting sub plots in progress, and with just 3 games left, we're starting to really enter the red zone.

First of all in the Montana Superbowl Championship the results from Week 11 were

Faithful Turfmen B      114.38  Shower of Tramps       70.70
Galway Bay Tribesmen    147.05  New York Jets V          114.10
Coolera Bears         101.63 mayo warriors              109.33
L'Esprit de Biff        120.93 hegan's helmets           88.60
Smackdown Clowns       101.47 Ballyhaise Bills               156.25

And the standings, as a result, are

Vince Lombardi Division
1.    Faithful Turfmen B    10-1-0    .909    5-1-0    1458.80    1127.92    W-3    10    8
5.    Coolera Bears            7-4-0    .636    4-2-0    1405.74    1392.21    L-2    6    31
6.    mayo warriors            4-7-0    .364    2-3-0    1351.56    1407.89    W-2    5    19
7.    Ballyhaise Bills            4-7-0    .364    2-3-0    1288.13    1398.15    W-2    4    25
9.    Shower of Tramps    2-9-0    .182    1-5-0    1220.22    1456.95    L-4    2    18

George Halas Division
2.    Galway Bay Tribesmen    8-3-0    .727    4-2-0    1700.42    1404.12    W-4    9    39
3.    L'Esprit de Biff            8-3-0    .727    4-2-0    1477.37    1329.97    W-5    8    16
4.    Smackdown Clowns    7-4-0    .636    4-1-0    1511.67    1403.38    L-4    7    36
8.    New York Jets V    3-8-0    .273    1-4-0    1354.96    1455.31    L-6    3    48
10.    hegan's helmets            2-9-0    .182    1-5-0    1107.97    1500.94    L-2    1    9

Mayo Warriors last gasp win over the Coolera Bears has thrown this championship into the melting pot. With 3 games left, no one is sure of a place in the playoffs, but the Faithful Turfmen 'B' have a 2 game lead over the field, and 1 more win will clinch a playoff berth for them, despite only owning the 4th best points total. Smackdown Clowns have gone into a tailspin and fallen from the #1 seed to the #4 seed, and only held onto that by virtue of the Bears' defeat. The Coolera Bears have fallen out of the playoff places, but as 1 game seperates 4 teams from #2 to #5 it really is nail biting time in the last few weeks.

On the other end of the scale, again nothing is decided, although hegan helmets and shower of tramps look sure to be plying their trade in the Payton Championship next year. The New York Jets V, Ballyhaise Bills and Mayo Warriors are scrapping to avoid the last two spots, and the Bills and warriors helped their cause immensely with two wins in week 11.

Week 12 sees some big ties as the Coolera Bears try to eat into the Turfmen B's lead in the Lombardi Division, while tie of the week sees the Smackdown Clowns try to arrest the slide against the Tribesmen, and throw another spanner in the playoff works. L'Esprit de Biff will fancy their chances of reinforcing playoff credentials against the Tramps, while the New York Jets V will look to seal the fate of the helmets, and in turn draw level with the loser of the other huge tie of the week as the 6th and 7th place 4-7 warriors and Bills lock horns in a real relegation dogfight.

In the Payton 'B' Championship there is also an intriguing race at both ends of the table. The results from Week 11 were

Faithful Turfmen       136.45    Craigyhill Terrors       133.23
Ruthless Rossies       154.08    O'Neill's Chargers       120.44
CAPT PATs VIKINGS      108.53    Red Hand Helmets       114.81
Rehab is 4 Quitters       108.15    Crossmaglen Hitmen       99.82
Royal Badgers (Claw)      115.50    Revis and Butthead       111.93

Which all means that the standings are as follows

John Madden Division

2.    Revis and Butthead    8-3-0    .727    3-2-0    1549.90    1408.57    L-1    9    44
5.    Craigyhill Terrors            6-5-0    .545    4-2-0    1289.83    1330.65    L-3    6    10
6.    Faithful Turfmen       4-7-0    .364    3-3-0    1344.45    1446.97    W-1    5    7
7.    Rehab is 4 Quitters    4-7-0    .364    3-3-0    1334.43    1429.15    W-2    4    22
9.    Crossmaglen Hitmen    3-8-0    .273    1-4-0    1351.37    1368.24    L-1    2    19

George Allen Division
1.    Royal Badgers (Claw)    9-2-0    .818    5-0-0    1547.10    1366.07    W-7    10    22
3.    Red Hand Helmets    9-2-0    .818    5-1-0    1582.15    1417.35    W-1    8    16
4.    Ruthless Rossies            6-5-0    .545    3-3-0    1570.77    1448.94    W-2    7    37
8.    CAPT PATs VIKINGS    3-8-0    .273    0-6-0    1366.03    1406.84    L-2    3    37
10.    O'Neill's Chargers    3-8-0    .273    1-4-0    1218.98    1532.23    L-2    1    19

At the top of the pile, the Royal Badgers and Red Hand Helmets look safely through to the playoffs, as both have a 3 game lead over the 5th seed, and would need a major collapse to fall out of the playoff positions at this stage. The 8-3 Revis and Butthead also look safe enough, although a little less so with a 2 game cushion and 3 to play. For all the world, it appears as if the 4th seed is going to be a straight shootout between the 6-5 Ruthless Rossies, who currently owns the position on points scored, and the Craigyhill Terrors. Mathematically the 4-7 Turfmen and Quitters are still in contention, but that may well be extinguished after week 12. It's much more likely that the bottom 5 seeds, seperated by a single game from 3-8 to 4-7, will be in a dogfight all the way to week 14 in a bid to avoid relegation. Week 12 sees a battle of the 4-7 teams in a game that will go a long way towards meaning safety for one of them. Ruthless Rossies will be trying to stay in that 4th seed as they face a tough task against the #1 Badgers, while the other 6-5 team, Craigyhill Terrors will hope to hammer another nail in the  Capt Pat's Vikings hopes of survival. Revis and Butthead will look to ensure passage to the playoffs, and at the same time hurt the Crossmaglen Hitmen, while the other 3-8 team, O'Neill's Chargers, faces a real do or die tussle with 9-2 #3 seed Red Hand Helmets.

In the Jerry Rice 'C' Championship the results for Week 12 were

Faithful Turfmen 'C'       138.85    The Curragh Rams       81.93
Derry No Clues       56.14    Savage bearsn        148.40
puppet master       104.78    The Uibh Fhailians       47.20
Oraisteach's Browns       142.93    Big Apple Orchards       94.58
North Antrim Nuggets    106.17    Superdubs             86.50

All of which means

Bill Belichick Division
2.    puppet master            7-4-0    .636    5-1-0    1382.33    1222.40    W-1    9    26
5.    The Curragh Rams    6-5-0    .545    4-2-0    1273.03    1346.84    L-3    6    14
7.    Faithful Turfmen 'C'    4-7-0    .364    4-2-0    1251.03    1314.80    W-1    4    12
9.    Superdubs                    2-9-0    .182    1-4-0    1069.97    1311.58    L-2    2    -
10.    The Uibh Fhailians    0-11-0    .000    0-5-0    1072.75    1394.72    L-11    1    3

Andy Reid Division
*1.    Oraisteach's Browns    10-1-0    .909    5-1-0    1641.78    1263.40    W-3    10    30
3.    North Antrim Nuggets    9-2-0    .818    3-2-0    1438.39    1302.38    W-5    8    11
4.    Savage bears            8-3-0    .727    4-1-0    1393.02    1133.40    W-4    7    19
6.    Big Apple Orchards    5-6-0    .455    1-5-0    1316.98    1272.31    L-1    5    21
8.    Derry No Clues            4-7-0    .364    1-5-0    1174.55    1452.00    L-1    3    7

And congratulations to Oraisteach's Browns, the first team to clinch a playoff spot in all 3 Championships. The exact seed they will fill is still up for grabs though, as the North Antrim Nuggets are only 1 game back, and indeed the Savage Bears are just two back. It appears as if the only question outstanding in the C division is whether the Puppet Masters can hold off the Curragh Rams for the Bill Belichick title, and thus the #2 seed. It's likely that the runner up here will be pushed out altogether as currently the #4 team holds a full 2 game lead over the #5 seed. At the bottom, the hapless Uibh Fhaliians seem to have lost interest unfortunately, and 47 points in week 11 point to a less than rigorous training regime :) It's important to remember that even if you are out of contention, you can still influence other results and standings and other teams are relying on you to keep trying.

Week 12 sees puppet master facing off against the Faithful Turfmen 'C', and will be hoping that a win here, and a defeat for the Rams against Oraisteach's Browns will put them on the brink of a #2 seeding. North Antrim Nuggets will be cheering on the Rams, and hoping to get to 10 wins themselves against the Derry No Clues. The Savage Bears will be hoping to copperfasten their 4th seed, at the very least, as they play the 5-6 Orchards, while the basement battle sees the winless Uibh Fhailians have an opportunity to break their duck against the 2-9 superdubs.

Remember this is Thanksgiving Week!!!!! Set your lineups before Thursday, as there are 3 games on Thursday evening/night.

I konw everyone has their Fantasy team issues and it can be annoying listening to other peoples stories of woe but please indulge me:

I have 3 fantasy teams this year.

Fred Jackson was the one player I had on all 3 teams.

I also have Adrian Peterson on two of those teams.

It's fair to say I'm pretty pissed off!

I feel your pain Seanie.

Shit happens, deal with it. Jacksons has gone down hill the last few weeks with the Billls and would have been playing the Jets this week. Peterson would have been up against the strong Falcons run defense this week as well. You might not be missing out on too much if Peterson gets back next week. i am in the same Jackson Peterson boat in one of my leagues as well. Look for Chris Ogbaonnaya/Montario Hardesty/Hillis(whoever plays), Marshawn lynch, Ben Tate, Cedric Benson or Kevin Smith if they can be got.
