Bizarre all the Derry bois coming out of the woodwork when Tyrone get beat. Nothing else to cheer  :D Give us a shout to we send you another manager  8)

Not just beat, but well beaten, not even a fight in the 2nd half.

Reminded me of Omagh in 2022!!

Quote from: Derry Man on July 10, 2025, 02:54:57 PMYou'd have to think McMahon is the leading candidate considering he basically had the job before Tally came in. I'd agree with the above, get meenagh & deets involved with whatever Manager comes in

They can't be getting rid of Tally for a rookie manager who hasn't even taken a club team! McMahon just took the Naas job a few weeks ago so I can't see him being in the running.

Quote from: Níl a fhios agam on July 07, 2025, 01:57:04 PMDrumsurn changed management again? senior championship this year too, i think its going to look grim for them the rest of the year
Why are Drumsurn in senior championship? Have we not gone back to 16 Division 1 teams in senior? I have lost track.
This is what the clubs have voted for over the course of the last few years. An influential few wanted the 16-12-9 structure for both league and championship and others fell into line.

I'm not sure it serves anybody except the handful of in senior who can continue living a lie at the bottom end too proud to go to IFC

Eh?? Ballinderry won last years Intermediate Championship and Castledawson are in it this year!

lets go back over the well trodden ground, who's not there that should be?

Big sweeping statements about men who are there and potentially men that are coming in. Plenty game time for reserve and back up players during the league this year and I don't know any who stamped any position down.
I've seen every team in senior league this year and bar Sean Kearney and maybe and its a big maybe Ryan Mc Nicholl theres no new faces banging on Tallys door.

None of the Newbridge lads??!!

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on June 30, 2025, 09:05:40 AMBut Outside D'Arcy of Galway very few of these kickouts are won clean, it's all mostly break ball. A team can be on top for 50/60mins and still get beat in the last 10mins. Under the old rules that wouldn't happen.

I think that's great and adds to the jeopardy of the thing and before if a team was 6 points up heading to the last 10 mins the game was completely over now you can't leave in case a comeback is on.

Teams are going to have to develop a set play kickout to break momentum. I imagine we'll see more of these next year becuase once you go on a run of losing possession in midfield things can get bad very quickly!

Quote from: SouthDublinBro on June 29, 2025, 05:39:21 PMDick Clerkin was right about this Armagh team.

What did he say about them?

Weakest team to ever win the AI.

They're better than the Tyrone team that won the 2021 All Ireland*

Not sure why Armagh have let Kerry get so many kickouts away.

They've been totally flat and after a decent couple of minutes after half time they've been horrible since!

Quote from: gallsman on June 29, 2025, 03:26:11 PMFarcical end. Took about 40 seconds I think to take that free.

Hooter went after the ball went out. should there not have been a kick out?

If the ball is already out of play following a score, a wide or for a sideline kick when the hooter sounds, the Referee shall signal the end of playing time on the sounding of the hooter.

Galway's attacking play has been shocking so far
