I thought Lynchbhoy might emerge from his eternal hiatus with a 'told you so' about James Forrest.

It was desperate defending for the headed goal, he knew the Rangers player was there but carried on ball watching. He can't jump and if he does get his head onto the ball, who knows where it will end up and that's a chronic problem dating back to his debut.Anytime he goes forward with the ball the game slows down. How many times did his passes go astray? At the very least he was by far the worst passer.Quote from: marty34 on May 12, 2024, 11:26:31 AMQuote from: Main Street on May 12, 2024, 11:16:32 AMQuote from: Itchy on May 12, 2024, 10:30:42 AMWhat I understand from his later justifications it's even more bizarre. The ' eejit Kenny on co-commentary who repeatedly claimed Lundstrom's red was not a red.
What a nutcase!
Just watching the highlights there.
WTF is Miller on about??
You'd swear there were ten leg-breaking tackles like that every day the way he's going on.
Absolute bellend!
In fairness, rangers manager was unequivocal about it saying it was red and a bad tackle. Bizarre stuff from Miller.
I think he's just doubling down on his initial decision. Doesn't want to back down. A clown.
Although Sutton is a clown also. Can't stand him.
Yesterday's game, like this year's league, was very hard work by Celtic. Poor stuff. Should have beaten them out the gate by 4 or 5 goals. Typical 2-0 up then conceding straight away. Just typical of this season.
Point still stands. Board need to invest big time now. Players like Scales, Harte and Taylor etc. are clearly not at the right standard. Celtic need serious investment. That should start right now instead of their usual messing about in August.
This will bring in more money via Champions League and good chance Matt O'Riley will go for £10m+.
Scales is better than all your other centre backs in my opinion.
Quote from: Milltown Row2 on May 10, 2024, 03:31:51 PMThe actress who played the character Martha did a spectacular job, i.e assuming in all likelihood she never met the real life Fiona.Quote from: Taylor on May 10, 2024, 03:06:01 PMQuote from: Milltown Row2 on May 10, 2024, 12:50:19 PMWatched the interview with Martha from baby reindeer last night, the woman is either completely bonkers or telling the truth
https://youtu.be/mK-isQXd_Qw
Parts of it was believable and then she would say something which made you thing she was bonkers.
Denied the emails then sort of hinted they might have been sent.
Same with voicemails but then said someone could have recorded her voice in the pub.
But much of what she said could be corroborated by police/witnesses etc.
She is some woman for going off on tangents rather than answering questions - was obsessed with the actresses accent
Was mental, and looks mentally unwell, and maybe people are taking advantage of the situation and making more money off her

Quote from: From the Bunker on May 12, 2024, 12:54:50 AMIsrael considered the most hated country in Eurovision... yet ended up with one of the highest volume of public votes. How did they manipulate the public vote, by hook and by crook I assume.
Your daily reminder that social media is not an accurate reflection of reality.
Quote from: Nanderson on May 09, 2024, 06:45:37 AMPlayers play to the whistle. It doesn't matter what mistake the linesman makes, it would not even have influenced a VAR inquisition had it come down to that. The ref should have ignored the flag, overruled the linesman and let the play proceed. The ref's mistake dwarfs that of the linesman.Quote from: Main Street on May 08, 2024, 10:54:07 PMThe linesman isn't meant to put their flag up until the end of the play even if there is suspicion of offside. It was a massive error. The player does look marginally offside but it's hard to know for sure unless they use the technology. Also the champions League offside system is vastly superior to the premsQuote from: square_ball on May 08, 2024, 10:49:14 PMLinesman shouldn't have flagged but Madrid players had stopped playing before the ball ended up in the net so who knows how it would have panned out.The linesman flag carries no weight, players should only play until they hear the ref's whistle.
In any VAR the linesman's flag would be ignored.

They or it for Non-binary? Bambie doesn't use a gender to describe oneself.
We send a freakshow to a competition that we should be boycotting anyway.
Bambie Thug is an artist, the elegant performance in the semi final was choreography perfected.
I haven't a notion about non-binary, BT's progress to the finals has brought much needed attention to this 'predicament'.
Give me a Catholic Mass over that Satanic Freakshow any day of the week and I haven't been to mass in ages.

Quote from: upmonaghansayswe on May 06, 2024, 12:57:07 PMThanks, are you saying if the ref plays advantage but subsequently the player gets caught in a swarm and holds onto the ball too long, the ref would generally call the play back for the advantage as you alluded to?Quote from: Main Street on May 06, 2024, 11:48:58 AMAnd how is the fouled player to know he has an advantage? eyes in the back of his head?
It's a totally idiotic advantage rule when you can lose the advantage inside 4 seconds.
If a player does happen to notice that he has the advantage, can he stop play and say, 'thanks ref but I want the free kick not the so called advantage'?
No, he has to 'honestly' play on and make the ref call it that no advantage is being gained.
I think a ref would give the free in the case of getting bottled up, as it would be clear no advantage is being gained at the start of the bottling up.
It's where the attacking player overcarries for no ones fault but their own that a foul would be called.
Quote from: square_ball on May 03, 2024, 01:54:24 PM'Mystic Joe' - except where Joe's concerned the prediction is announced after the event.Quote from: Snapchap on May 03, 2024, 12:56:37 PMThe episode also contains Joe telling us how he told txt a friend before the Derry Donegal game to predict that Donegal would win using "a ploy to go for lobbed goals when the keeper comes to midfield". Weirdly, he never once made that prediciton in public before the game. Just told us about how he predicted it in the aftermath and how obvious it was.
Not a friend but of course with Joe it has to be a recent county player who just happened to message Joe to ask for his prediction. In this case it was Ryan Jones from Fermanagh who of course after the match text Joe to say that he was absolutely correct in his prediction.
