Point-to-Point

No sign of Splash or any hurling chat lately?

Used to take a bit to do with it and we'd have a couple boys in the parish playing for different clubs- nice to keep up with the club and county scene.

Would love to see the hurling resurrected in our club.

Anyone any word on how the leagues are going or how Down have been faring in the Joe McDonagh?

Ambrose Rogers was very good on the GAA Social podcast this week.
Very open & honest chat about a lot of tough times.

Talked about his injury in 2010. Made me think it might be the one that got away!

Good win in Croke Park for the U20's. Although it is B grade, hopefully encourage a number of the players to buy into the county system. Good year for the senior hurlers, Division 3 and Joe Mcdonagh status retained - however lack of clubs providing hurling making it difficult to push to next level.

Truth hurts

There's more clubs providing hurling than there ever was in Down, the All county P4 and P6 blitzes have kids from teams and area's that haven't fielded in such a long time and in good numbers and long may it continue.
